- Determine the depth and breadth of any excavation
- Receive quotations for work to be performed
- Engage Demolition Contractor
- Secure all relevant permits, insurances, and safety certificates
- If owner is undertaking demolition and removal
- Are fire services provided?
- Are suspended floors safe for the loads?
- Are demolition tools and equipment being used safely?
- Are electric tools and equipment being used safely?
- Are workers protected from falls?
- Is the public properly protected?
- Is rigging work being done safely?
