Preparing for Clean Up
- Identify and record all service providers and account numbers
- Gas
- Electricity
- Water
- Telecommunications
- Land Lines
- Internet
- Mobile Phones
- Wear protective clothing at all times whilst on site
- Arrange to have tetanus injection if needs be
- Confirm the site is free from Asbestos and any other contaminants
- Confirm the site is free of firearms and ammunition
- Ensure all services are properly disconnected
- Determine, agree, and clearly mark the point to which services are to be terminated
- Identify and empty any underground tanks and or septic systems
- Determine, agree, and clearly identify plumbing is to remain
- Identify, agree and certify as secure any structures you want left
- Identify and agree all trees and landscaping to be removed
- Recover any remaining personal belongings
- Confirm public assets such as roads, bridges, culvert crossings, etc are clear for
use by demolition contractors
