Preparing for Clean Up

  • Identify and record all service providers and account numbers
    • Gas
    • Electricity
    • Water
    • Telecommunications
      • Land Lines
      • Internet
      • Mobile Phones
  • Wear protective clothing at all times whilst on site
  • Arrange to have tetanus injection if needs be
  • Confirm the site is free from Asbestos and any other contaminants
  • Confirm the site is free of firearms and ammunition
  • Ensure all services are properly disconnected
  • Determine, agree, and clearly mark the point to which services are to be terminated
  • Identify and empty any underground tanks and or septic systems
  • Determine, agree, and clearly identify plumbing is to remain
  • Identify, agree and certify as secure any structures you want left
  • Identify and agree all trees and landscaping to be removed
  • Recover any remaining personal belongings
  • Confirm public assets such as roads, bridges, culvert crossings, etc are clear for use by demolition contractors
